It’s been an honour and a privilege to serve our community as a Councillor for the last three years and I am determined that New Plymouth will keep being the incredible place that we love. To make sure of that, we need to protect and regenerate our environment, support our community to flourish, and ensure our economy can thrive - not just for now but for generations to come.

About

I am a former lawyer and scientist with a heart for the community. In addition to serving a term on the New Plymouth District Council, I have experience in research, tertiary student support, equity advice, property and commercial law, and governance in the community sector.

Most importantly, I am led by my values –  courage, clarity, excellence, and compassion.

Having worked alongside Amanda on Council over the last three years, I have seen her hard work and commitment to the role. She brings a very strong ability to understand the complex details, assess risk and opportunity, and make pragmatic decisions. As she is so active in the community, these decisions are always balanced with the needs and voice of our very diverse community.
